Chris Burghardt is Senior Vice President and General Manager, ProQuest Information Solutions. He’s fascinated by maps and their ability to capture the world in an image, like this one from 1625, entitled “A new and accurate map of the world drawn according to the truest descriptions, latest discoveries, and best observations that have been made by English or strangers.”

Chris has spent his professional career focusing on new product development and leading product management and marketing teams in diverse markets. He joined ProQuest in 2018 from Clarivate Analytics, where he served as Vice President, Content Management and was responsible for the Web of Science™ and Journal Citation Reports™. Prior to that, he held several leadership roles at Thomson Reuters and Wolters Kluwer.

Chris holds a BA in Political Science and Government from Villanova University and an MBA from Fox School of Business at Temple University. He is based in New York.
